The NASCAR Sprint Cup series invades the hallowed grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway home of the Indy 500 for the annual Brickyard 400. The 2010 Brickyard 400 is second only in excitement and prestige to NASCAR’s own Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday, July 25, 2010 and this event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. EDT on ESPN.

It will also be broadcast on the radio stations, Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network and Performance Racing Network at 12 p.m. EDT. The race will consist of 160 laps, 400 miles (643.73 km).

The Brickyard 400 has a remarkable record of predicting the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship winner. The winner of this race has gone on to win the crown in eight of the sixteen seasons that the Brickyard 400 has been in existence. Who has the tools to win the race this year? Will they carry that momentum forward to win the title?
