While Nadal is coming on the back of victory over home favourite Andy Murray in the Semi while he defeated his old foe Robin Soderling in the Quarter Final. 2008 winner Rafael Nadal is the firm favourite to win the event.

After an impressive performance shown by Brock Lesnar over Shane Carwin in the main event of UFC 116 he will now fight undeafeted Cain Velasquez. When Lesnar and Carwin step in into the octagon for their fight it was Lesnar who put a show and as a result Lesnar won. UFC 116 Lesnar vs Carwin Preview
One of the most anticipated MMA battles of the year takes place Saturday when Shane Carwin takes on heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar for the undisputed heavyweight title at UFC 116. Lesnar, coming off a 1 year layoff hopes to bull rush Carwin who is the same size as Lesnar while Carwin hopes to finally test the chin of Lesnar.

Lesnar, 32, and Carwin, 35, were originally going to clash at UFC 106 last fall, but Lesnar had to pull out because an illness – a bacterial infection in his intestinal track – kept him from training. That fight was indefinitely postponed when Lesnar underwent surgery in November to close a perforation in his intestine.

Although Uruguay have a rich FIFA World Cup history, they have not advanced as far as the quarter-finals since their run to the last four in 1970. Ghana, their opponents on Friday night, have never gone this far in the tournament before, having reached the second round four years ago on their FIFA World Cup debut.

In both 2006 and in South Africa, the Black Stars were Africa's only representatives in the knock-out rounds, and they can also become the first ever side from the continent to advance to a semi-final with a win.
